We're looking for an experienced Finance Manager to take the lead on financial planning, reporting and the implementation of internal financial controls. You'll be joining a new team and as such, will be responsible for designing and implementing appropriate systems and frameworks.
You will also manage day-to-day relationships with relevant counterparts and service providers, oversee and manage the company’s payments, accounting, and finance operations, and ensure proper internal and external regulatory reporting.
Accountabilities
Develop and manage operating budgets, local accounting and reconciliation mechanisms and manage and oversee the cash flow of the company to ensure it has the appropriate treasury controls.
Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy to support business growth goals and regulatory requirements, ensuring all accounting activities and internal audits are in compliance with financial regulations.
Prepare and file financial statements, company income tax returns, regulatory reporting, etc. and liaise with auditors and other service providers, as required.
Produce monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting and periodic reporting of financial results for senior management.
Work closely with product focused finance managers to ensure consistency and accuracy of accounts and forecasts at the group level
Support the HYDRO LABS treasury function
Domain
Ability to oversee the Finance and Accounting functions for HYDRO LABS and work alongside product specific finance managers to ensure cohesion.
Cryptocurrency knowledge gained from prior professional or personal experience and understanding of relevant operational tools, e.g. multi-sig wallets, explorers, etc.
Extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, modeling, financial accounting and reporting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally.
Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin preferred)
